After how well SC worked out for Newt, I'm wondering if Mitt shld tell Florida tonight that he and Ann have decided to have an open marriage and then ask the moderator what she's up to later.Ute-ī sunt fīmī differtī
It can't all be wedding cake.

Really what Newt should do is ask Mitt for the name of his expensive accountant and any personal investment managers...they are the guys that are responsible for helping Mitt stay in that low tax bracket. Then Newt can suggest that all of working class America hire similar expensive accountants and tax planners to help them do the same.Originally posted by beefytee View PostBingo. Newt is the one who should be taking the heat here for being a moron who can't figure out how to get his tax rate down below 31%.
It would be yet another example of Mitt being in touch with the common man.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Because I think to call Ann Romney unapproachable, as you did in a fairly sweeping manner (or if you didn't mean that, please clarify) is laughable, especially if you are basing it on where she went to high school.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostWhy is that funny? You responded:The contrast with the very severe-looking Callista would be quite striking. Ann seems much more approachable.
So I asked if you had ever met Ann Romney, which might add some credibility to your jab at her. For all I know, you actually have met her and she was having a bad day on that occasion, and she treated you badly. She's not. You can take the girl out of Cranbrook, but you can't take the Cranbrook out of the girl.
For this you seem to be calling me a name. No worries, it just seems odd.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Was she approachable, or did her Cranbrook education get in the way?Originally posted by Flystripper View PostI broke bread with the Romneys in 1994 during my mission to Boston. Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
