I only took two years of French, but am I wrong when I say that Mitt's accent is horrific? I saw a clip of him introducing himself on French TV and it sounded just like my class when we stood up and introduced ourselves after the first semester of class.

Not to be a dick to the former Ampad employees who were laid off in the late-80's, but I think it's time they get over it. Indiana has enough going on that they should have been able to find other work in the past twenty five years. I'm sure of it.

That's some funny stuff. I liked the, "I didn't have but two gifts for my kid for Christmas!"Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostShe's on Mitt's hit list."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I also like the continued xenophobic mention of "founded with Latin American capital" they keep saying, trying to impugn his patriotism by suggesting that he does the Latin American bogeyman's bidding--why does he hate America? I'm amazed they didn't just say, "And many rich Latin Americans are drug dealers." That video is a disgrace."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Wow! Gingrich stoops to a new low, which I wasn't sure is possible. Dude is just throwing pooh (he ran out of spaghetti a couple days ago) at the wall now to see if any of it sticks. I wish someone in the TEA Party would take this guy down. It's embarrassing.Originally posted by YOhio View PostNewt Robocall.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I think robocalls are kind of cool. It's the one area in American politics where a candidate can say almost anything and few people really care. People might pretend that they're shocked, but it doesn't stop candidates and PAC's from going straight to the gutter. Candidates at all levels and in both parties do it and they're a fairly cheap way of getting the message out. Interestingly enough, robocalls are exempt from the DNC registry.
