If that were the case I'd not only vote for the guy but I'd likely go door to door dragging people to the polls to vote for him.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I think Jindal would be an excellent pick.

I felt the same way. After reading up on him I'm convinced that was a disastrous low point for him. I don't always agree with George Will (he's become too much of a curmudgeon) but here's his take from a few days ago.

It would be worth it just to watch her debate in her Star Wars voice, especially if that one single tone happens to be one that Biden can no longer hear in his old age.

Interesting. Could help get just enough AA votes in some swing states to make the difference.

Downside is Team Obama would try to blame Iraq, lack of WMD, Hurricane Katrina and the every stupid thing GWB did on Romney/Rice.

                          • I still kind of hate Condi for this.

You're a star athlete. Name the sport and your dream moment.

Hitting the winning [shot] in Game 6 of the NBA Finals in front of a stunned crowd in Utah. I've always thought that was one of the last great moments in any sport, any time.
                            It was a pushoff.

Doubt she's garner any significant portion of the AA vote and she brings no charisma to a candidate that has none himself.

She'd kick Biden's ass in debates, but who wouldn't at this point? That guy is an imbecile. I keep waiting for Biden to announce some mysterious illness, like a suspected heart attack, in the middle of a dinner and then be flown off on a private jet to southern california to see his cardiologist where he will resign as coa...er... VP thus allowing The Obama to select a newer, better VP candidate.

                              • Condi would bring up bush foreign policy. Bush foreign policy loses. I worry about the same thing with Portman ("Romney, didny your VP work for the management team for Bush, who was just as bad re the debt?"). Jindal or Rubio or else ill be disappointed.
