Glad he could show his law and order bonafides and dust off that bible for his crowd. What a gross crass person he is. Just terrible. Go away.
Is there a person on earth who could have screwed this up any worse that DJT? Good hell.

Did he really hold te Bible upside down?

    • Cool.

His defense needs to be that the economic shutdown made him do it.

Despite their many imperfections, every previous President I can think of had moments of public empathy that helped (if only a little) reduce tensions and unify the nation (e.g., Obama after the church massacre, Bush after 9/11, Reagan after the Challenger disaster, etc.). At a time when empathy and a unifying voice are needed perhaps more than at anytime in my lifetime, it's very sad that we have the first president who is psychologically incapable of either. Trump thrives only through conflict and division, and can't focus on anything other than himself for more than a moment. He's a tragic embarrassment.

            • Looks like the people, especially the poor, are not causing the violence because they are at the end of their rope because of the shutdown.

In large part it's actually a bunch of suburban whites appropriating black rage and coming downtown to push their radical agendas by attacking "establishment forces."

Yes, black people in these communities are at the end of their rope and marching, but not because the economy shut down.

White instigators to blame for mayhem in some protests, local officials say

“What did I tell you?” a voice cried out as the camera recording mayhem in downtown Pittsburgh settled on a white man, clad in all black, smashing the windows of a police vehicle.

“It is not black people,” the onlooker called to the crowd before addressing the vandal directly: “What are you doing?”

What he was doing, authorities later alleged, was inciting riots on Saturday as the city — like dozens of others across America — was swept up in sustained unrest over the death of a black man in police custody.

              . . . . . . .

Police identified Brian Jordan Bartels, 20, of Allison Park, Pa., as having “kicked off” the escalation in Pittsburgh, one of several examples of peaceful assemblies against police violence creating opportunities for pandemonium.

              . . . . . . .

Some local officials were even more blunt. After reviewing footage of the weekend’s events, Jenny Durkan, the mayor of Seattle, said she feared the black community would shoulder the blame for havoc others caused.

“It is striking how many of the people who were doing the looting and stealing and the fires over the weekend were young white males,” Durkan (D) said in an interview.

Yep... The lefty Antifa dudes are making it look like it is the black people:

Apparently they don't care about black people.

I don't know about this theory. If the nazis and shin heads have infiltrated Antifa that would really piss them off and doesn't explain the flag burning, etc. And I thought the Antifa kids were smarter than that. Maybe it is Antifa posing as shin heads posing as Antifa. Or maybe it is the Russians!

“I honestly, honestly, honestly believe that there were people from out of state that came in here to instigate some of this violence, but we will follow through with that,” said Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown.

Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall joined the chief in suggesting outsiders were responsible for inciting a riot that caused property damage in several areas of the city.

“The police intelligence suspects that there are people who came in from out of town to do just that, incite the violence and move a peaceful protest into a violent one. We’ll be taking that seriously,” said Mendenhall.

They aren’t alone in that belief.

Since George Floyd’s death while in police custody in Minnesota, political leaders from across the country have said non-residents are the ones to blame for causing violence and destruction in their cities.

The concept of the itinerant violence inciter cracks me up. Why are so many politicians around the country floating this stupidity? The statistics don't back them up:

Several Minnesota politicians claimed as many as 80% of protesters in that state were bused from out of state. Investigations discredited that claim.

And, as the KSL Investigators found from digging through affidavits following Saturday’s protest in Salt Lake, arrest records don’t appear to support that claim in our state either

Yeah. All the protesters, wherever they are protesting, are not from there.

There are a bunch of woke whites instigating shit though. There is video evidence of this.

Haha. Males are 99 percent of the problem. How many women have been behind or at the front of the conflicts, atrocities, and social unrest of the last 120 years that caused well over 100 million deaths?

I always worry when I hear about an officer from metro getting hurt. I've got a couple of friends still working there that I went through the academy with.
