I presumed that to be the case, of course. Poor writing.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Those photos are a testament to the almost incomprehensible power of nature. Devastating is the only word I can come up with to describe it.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

A mom - five months pregnant - home alone with their three kids. Throws them in the bathtub and lays on top of them. Tornado destroys the house. 4-year-old dies immediately; they find the 2-year-old's body in a lake; the 8-year-old is in the hospital critical condition; and mom went into labor and delivered a 20-weeks premature baby. Dad is devastated that he wasn't home to protect his family.
They say that all things come together for good, but holy cow that's one of the most brutal stories I've ever heard.

This picture reminds me of the one that went through Oklahoma City in 1998. I flew into OKC a couple weeks after that. It was like someone had driven a gigantic bulldozer in a straight path through the town. Even the streets were gone. It was bare dirt in a straight line, with houses on either side untouched. It was the most surreal thing I've seen in real life. Totally looked like a movie, but you knew it wasn't.Originally posted by DapperDan View PostThis picture is incredible.
