I like where MBN's head is at. If Israeli-Palestinian relations over the last 80 years are any indication, it's clear that violence begets more violence when dealing with hardline radicals. I fully suspect that American-born nutjobs will carry out the next terrorist attack for Al Qaeda or similar organization, and it will be a doozy, and quite possibly done in the name and in remembrance of their "martyr", Osama bin Ladin.Originally posted by NorthwestUteFan View PostAt this point I say F them. Tell the Imams to get a handle on the radicals, and to take back Islam from the jihadis.
Tell them we will pull out and leave them alone, but let them know that a major attack in the US will result with a few Tomahawks in Mecca. Then Medina. Then (fill in the blank)...
They claim all their "holy sites" are off-limits. Well, you know what? EVERY American city is a "holy site" in some way.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

Another interesting article about, 99 virgin eve.
Though this isn't the best example. One of the things I most covet, is to write like most of the authors who contribute to The New Yorker, Esquire, Vanity Fair, or Rolling Stone. What is the best way for an ignoramus, like me, torelearn rudimentary grammar?

On the morning of Sunday, May 1st, White House officials cancelled scheduled visits, ordered sandwich platters from Costco, and transformed the Situation Room into a war room.

I hadn't considered this:Outside, the Americans corralled the women and children—each of them bound in flex cuffs—and had them sit against an exterior wall that faced the second, undamaged Black Hawk. The lone fluent Arabic speaker on the assault team questioned them. Nearly all the children were under the age of ten. They seemed to have no idea about the tenant upstairs, other than that he was “an old guy.
Back in Abbottabad, residents of Bilal Town and dozens of journalists converged on bin Laden’s compound, and the morning light clarified some of the confusion from the previous night. Black soot from the detonated Black Hawk charred the wall of the animal pen. Part of the tail hung over the wall. It was clear that a military raid had taken place there. “I’m glad no one was hurt in the crash, but, on the other hand, I’m sort of glad we left the helicopter there,” the special-operations officer said. “It quiets the conspiracy mongers out there and instantly lends credibility. You believe everything else instantly, because there’s a helicopter sitting there.”

a pretty spectacular line:
Fearing that one or both women were wearing suicide jackets, he stepped forward, wrapped them in a bear hug, and drove them aside. He would almost certainly have been killed had they blown themselves up, but by blanketing them he would have absorbed some of the blast and potentially saved the two SEALs behind him. In the end, neither woman was wearing an explosive vest.Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

agreeOriginally posted by Jacob View PostNot at all. I was happy about it for 1 reason...that he was dead. That fact hasn't changed.
Navy Seals ran a fast operation, at night, deep in quasi-enemy territory, after having to blow up their copter, and killed our arch-enemy without pausing first to ask many questions.
I don't see the problem.

that would be the most beneficial, even patriotic action that Obama and our crappy congress could do.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostWe need to get those men the hell out of there.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
