Kind of ironic that the state is being so vocal about responsible social media use by teenagers when a member of the state school board can’t be trusted with facebook. What an awful example to set for kids.

Ms. Clines continued presence on the Utah State Board of Education undermines the trust and respect that is afforded to such a position. It is imperative Ms. Cline takes responsibility for her actions. Her irresponsible post cannot be rectified by a half-hearted apology in which she excused her actions by stating we’re just living in “strange times.”

if she wins the primary, she will easily get elected. Probably 60+ percent of the vote. The only hope is her losing the primary. My guess is that she narrowly loses in the primary, but there is still a chance she wins. I certainly wouldn't put money on it, but I am not a rich person who owns a mansion in Alpine.

Sorry, I'm new to the state of Utah, but do they have primary elections for school board? Not meant as an insult, just curious as I've never seen a school board primary.

There is not that appetite. Sadly, there might be an appetite for bullying LGBTQ kids. Hopefully that is a limited number of people.

She was bullied for being perceived as trans. The legislature should've impeached the offending party.
If bullying is acceptable for trans people is acceptable, it spreads.

he's saying she was bullied because people thought she was trans as Cline had portrayed her. i have no idea how true that is, but i think that's Frank's point.
