    Superbowl Commercial Thread

    Ok...usually we get the best efforts out of the marketing minds. So...I actually look forward to the commercials during the superbowl.

    Having said that...that second "Doritoes" spot...was BAD! Dude is a serious 'creeper'. Sucking on that dudes finger?? Um...ok. Sniffing that other dudes pants? eewwww!

    This one is supposed to make it's debut...I think it's nicely done. Made me laugh..

                      For whatever reason...my "Darth Vader - VW" link isn't working. THought that one was very clever.
                      "Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."

                      Hmm... Good motivation for me to remain active I guess.

                                              The worst commercial was that utterly confusing "old luxury" Audi commercial.

                                              The VW Darth Vader commercial was terrific. Funny and heartwarming. The VW Beetle commercial was also very good.
                                              Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                                                  In addition to the Darth Vader ad, I kind of liked the Coke ad playing on the Lord of the Rings (I think) with the dragon.
