Perhaps. If he is back in a week I will stand by my assertion.Originally posted by Jacob View PostExcept he is suspended "without pay."
Then again, perhaps MSNBC is tired of snark and sarcasm replacing actual thoughtful discourse and needed a convenient excuse to clear the books.
I will be doubly surprised if MSNBC actually hires a minority to a prime-time slot (and NO, Rachel Maddow does not count as a minority).Last edited by NorthwestUteFan; 11-05-2010, 02:01 PM.

Corect me if I am wrong, but as I understand it the 1st Amendment solely applies to the government passing a law banning his speech, but NOT to a private company determining what speech is allowed in the workplace.Originally posted by Babs View PostIf the first amendment is relevant at all I've got a lot more studying to do.
We can't be put in prison for saying things, but our employers are within their fire us for speech.

Olberhack should be allowed to donate to whomever he wants to donate, but I think it's hilarious what has happened to him."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
