Yes! And, I'm betting that they will be tomorrow too.

The "sleds" were somewhat odd looking, so I took a closer look and saw that they were Washing Machine Drip Pans. I guess for a kid in the South who doesn't have much sledding experience, a drip pan is good enough.
We'll take anything we can get. I remember the first afternoon that snow started to fall at BYU, a few of us grabbed trays from the Morris Center and at about 10pm headed to the Marriott Center and we had a blast going down those hills that night. It was icy, but we had an awesome jump and after couple of hours we headed in and my glutes were bruised from taking the jump and landing on my wallet.
I have nothing else to say at this time.

      • It was a blustery day in the Pee Dee. We're at the middlemark of Winter, and all is dead, gray, dreary, and dry. The ground crunches wherever you walk, all feels washed in a tinted-out feel like when you screwed with the tv knobs as a kid, and it feels like the Earth will never Spring up again. I loathe Winter. When I die someday, may it be the end of August when the sun is high, the forest green, leafy, and dank, and the Earth is full of life. O Lord, let me die in an August!

In the bleak mid winter, frosty wind made moan
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone.

ne'er were the words of Christina Rossetti more apt at describing the mood of winter . . . except it's not Xmas.

It hasn't been above freezing all month.

            That can be arranged.

            • I was in Louisville this weekend. Glad to be headed back to Utah to get WARM. It was 7 degrees when I left the hotel yesterday. Louisvile may be the "Northernmost Southern city" or vice versa, but you don't expect that kind of weather.

              This winter sucks.

Heck, it's even 61 way up here.

                      • I spent yesterday outside in a t-shirt. Today it's supposed to hit 75. My dad is golfing for the second day in a row. My FIL and his mother are in town visiting. I should be on the course with my old man right now.
