Yes, I recognize the grammar issue in the question.

This should come as no suprise, but I've voted repub since I was first able to vote in '76

      76 - Ford
      80 - Reagan
      84 - Reagan
      88 - Bush 1
      92 - Bush 1
      96 - Dole
      00 - Bush 2
      04 - Bush 2
      08 - McCain

That means I'm 6 of 9 in picking winners

But to show that I am not a complete tool of the GOP, I voted for Ted Wilson, Scott Mathison 1 and 2 when they ran for gov.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

I"m not that old , but I have voted in 3 presidential elections (didn't vote in the first election in which I was eligible to vote). I've voted for the Republican nominee twice ('04 & '08) and technically voted for a Republican in '00 but it's not one anyone on this board has ever heard of.

Of those votes, I only regret the '04 vote. It was a wartime vote and the rational was to keep the current administration in place to finish up the war.

That being said, I tend to vote Democrat at the local level and Repub at the federal level. I don't affiliate with either political party mainly because I think the Repub platform is good for the federal level and the Democrat platform is good at hte local (state/county/city) level. I guess you could say I find good in both parties.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

                None of the above.

I voted for the first time this last election and voted for the Libertarian guy.

                  Where are the Libertarians?

I also voted for Nader once.

poll is limited to 10, otherwise, I would've put Perot in there.

There is never any respect for the other parties.

Where is Ross Perot on your list?

Most of the time I feel like I'm voting for the lesser of two evils and I've voted for both Republicans and Democrats, as well as Perot (independent?) back when he ran.

I probably wouldn't have even considered Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in the last presidential election except that the Republicans wouldn't let me, an independent, vote for any of them in the primary (against California rules), so I had to study the choices from the Democrats and decided that they didn't look so bad after all if you actually pay attention to what they're saying as opposed to what the opposing part says that they're saying.

I still feel that we didn't have any good choices last time around, though.

I know that Perot came in ahead of Clinton in Utah in the 1992 election. Maybe you could have left Clinton out at the bottom.
