The link you provided does not address inequality and the fact that Americans spend almost double their advantage in net/gross disposable income on health care, and actually only accounts for a small number of very wealthy households propping up the index which means the numbers at OECD better life are cooked.

US households have the highest (or second highest) per household discretionary disposable income. Yes, our healthcare costs are higher than average but that is more than offset by our low tax burden.
