There will be a lot of very disappointed young and idealistic voters when it becomes apparent that Zohran will not be able to wrap them in the "warmth of collectivism."

Fantastic callback. Man it would have been nice to have Ropati this past season.

You're right that it's simple economics.

I'm still scratching my head over Mamdani's "warmth of collectivism" line. I think he's a smart guy so why he would use a term used by Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and others is mystifying. Literally tens of millions of people were starved or murdered outright because of collectivist motives. But maybe for the first time in history it'll work.

Mamdani needs to fire Weaver or mainstream Democrats need to disavow Mamdani. Otherwise, the gains the Dems expect to make in the next two election cycles will disappear like a fart in the wind. The Mamdani/Sanders/AOC wing seems to think the anti-Trump sentiment will propel them to victory, but they're clueless about Main Street America.

She is certifiable! I saw that her Dad lives in a $724K home in Brooklyn and her Mom lives in a 2.8 million home in TN. Guessing they didn’t get the memo from their daughter.

Also going to venture to guess this lady has never worked a real day in her life.

I mean I am not sure you could have crafted a more complete communist if you had built her in a lab.

I hereby officially retract this statement where I imply that Mamdani is not a communist, just a democratic socialist. He is a commie.

Some zingers from his new aide in charge of housing.
