Heard an interview with a Jewish student at Columbia on NPR. He felt by going hybrid (you can do 100% home if you want ), the university was basically telling him “we can’t/won’t protect you”. That student is correct. Columbia knows what they should do, they just won't do it. They need to hold in person classes and protect all students and suspend or expel any students that make a threat to another student.
