Well, there are more lawyers in our government than ever before and look how <redacted> up our country is right now.

That facility is going to be filled with low level nuclear waste whether it comes from Italy or California, you know.

Do any of them write laws? I honestly don't know. I would assume they give their idea to some aid (who has a legal background) and the aid writes it. Then the official introduces it.

I don't really care that the CEO at my company couldn't program a computer worth squat even though I work at a technology company.

I also don't need the management at hospitals to be able to perform bypass surgery either.

Edit: To think of it, I've never heard of anyone campaign about their law writing abilities either.

Yes, I know that and I don't want any of it here.

There are also more teachers in education than ever before. Maybe THAT's what's wrong with our education system-- we keep hiring educators to teach our students! We should fire the ones who have spent too much time in schools and hire more sanitation engineers to replace them.

The problem with education is that it's connected to the government - a government that is full of lawyers.

If I lived in Utah I'd vote for Lee but I'd be unenthusiastic. There's no way he or Bridgewater would have ever gotten close to the Senate if it were not for the Tea Party excesses and the easily-manipulated caucus system.

Lawyers are trained to litigate and advise and perform legal analysis. IMO there's nothing about our training that equips us to be good legislators. Congress can (and does) hire people to provide legal services.

In other election news, Matheson won. So he gets to face another sacrifical GOP lamb in Morgan Philpot

I'm guessing that you should have responded to AA with this.

                      I agree on both points

I may be small, but I'm slow.
