GTFO, hack.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Plus watching a movie at a packed theater on opening weekend is just a fun experience. That's not going away anytime soon for a handful of blockbuster type movies. Although I certainly agree with the general premise that the movie industry needs to continue to adapt to changing times or it will go extinct.Originally posted by Commando View PostI have a nice setup at my house- hd projector, sound system, the works. It's nice to watch stuff and play video games, but I think it would take the fun out of say- the new Star Wars if I could just d/l it on a certain day and watch it. I want that in IMAX or something, and I'll pay to see it that way. Maybe that's nostalgia talking, but I don't think so. I think it is more fun to see movies at the theatre where I can give the material the attention it deserves.

Which plays into the theory that Sony knew the movie sucked and was happy to pull the movie to drum up the some controversy to stoke sales.Originally posted by old_gregg View Postno it was pretty bad. and i like Seth rogenAin't it like most people, I'm no different. What kind of idiot would believe that? Sony allowed themselves to be hacked? That's funny.Originally posted by falafel View PostWhich plays into the theory that Sony knew the movie sucked and was happy to pull the movie to drum up the some controversy to stoke sales."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? That's what makes this so intriguing. Sony worked with NK to do the hack in order to raise the profile and viewership for a horrible movie. Amazing marketing scheme.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWhat kind of idiot would believe that? Sony allowed themselves to be hacked? That's funny.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/1...ry-113866.htmlIt will be fun when we look back at the "WMD" of cyber attacks a few years from now; can't wait for the movie.
Sony had a file called "user passwords.xls" on their network. lol. high probability former employee used it for hack or sold it. not hard to mask IP to NK. Morans.Last edited by 8BR; 12-30-2014, 08:45 AM.

I just caught the Frontline: Secret State of North Korea doc on Netflix. They had some great interviews with defectors and some smuggled footage from NoKo. Well worth watching.
