I admitted the hack immediately. Redact that shit!

I want that in IMAX or something, and I'll pay to see it that way. Maybe that's nostalgia talking, but I don't think so. I think it is more fun to see movies at the theatre where I can give the material the attention it deserves.
Plus watching a movie at a packed theater on opening weekend is just a fun experience. That's not going away anytime soon for a handful of blockbuster type movies. Although I certainly agree with the general premise that the movie industry needs to continue to adapt to changing times or it will go extinct.

No. It's pretty much exactly what I thought it would be. It was funny in a few spots and met but didn't exceed my very low expectations.

Which plays into the theory that Sony knew the movie sucked and was happy to pull the movie to drum up the some controversy to stoke sales.

What kind of idiot would believe that? Sony allowed themselves to be hacked? That's funny.

That's what makes this so intriguing. Sony worked with NK to do the hack in order to raise the profile and viewership for a horrible movie. Amazing marketing scheme.

Rogan bugs the shit out of me. The movie wasn't good but I enjoyed it for the novelty aspect.

                          • The movie was funny at times, but generally ridiculous and dumb. It did get the fireworks song stuck in my head all day so that was good.

Sony had a file called "user passwords.xls" on their network. lol. high probability former employee used it for hack or sold it. not hard to mask IP to NK. Morans.

                              • I just caught the Frontline: Secret State of North Korea doc on Netflix. They had some great interviews with defectors and some smuggled footage from NoKo. Well worth watching.
