To her credit, she actually nailed the stand-up part of her appearance last night. I was really impressed. If you compare her to seasoned comedians, no she did not do well. But if you were to take almost any other politician and have him or her run off 6 or 7 caps in a row like that, not sure they could do it so casually. Palin was believable as a comedienne last night. Could you imagine Obama or McCain or Mitt trying to tell several jokes like that? Yikes.

I think her gig on Fox is more up her alley. She is not a political leader, but she is a great media personality.
Leave my main man Mitt out of this. He has proven his comedic brilliance.

I don't think anyone takes her seriously as a presidential candidate. Meaning, that she can drum up enough support to beat out other candidates, not that she won't sucker some people to vote for her.

Her unintentional comedy quotient is worth the price of admission. And, if it is not something she says directly then those who fawn over her or those who vilify her fill in nicely.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

I am with you on this one Indy. It is like she is an afront to "smart" people everywhere and it really gets to them. They are afraid she might have a "following".

Of course, I now am labeling myself as one of the "unsmart". It hurts.

unfortunately, i think rational choice group theory has something to say about small groups of homogeneous and highly motivated voters...

Nope, but I sure can imagine Joe Biden doing it. "Stand up Ralph, oh, God bless you Ralph what was I thinking."

Note: Error, error. This was supposed to be in response to DDD question about imagining Obama, Mitt or McCain doing what Sarah did.

If it makes you feel any better, we labeled you as that years ago, and have been operating under that assumption. So I don't think it will change much.

Well, at least I earned the label.

lol. Just like W. was an afront to articulate people everywhere.

What is scary is that she has a following. A gun toting, extreme anti-government following.

She is the right's equivalent of Al Gore.

Did I ever mention how much I admire Mrs. nikuman?
