This is just foolish. What are they saving themselves for? Terrorism season isn't that long. If they can't do something as simple as lighting a fuse, they need to find a new line of work. All I know is I've been stopped a couple of times for setting off the explosives alarms at the airport. I didn't have explosives, but I'm guessing the equipment is pretty sensitive. I would think it's pretty tough to get enough explosives through security to actually blow up a plane. If he wasn't able to get enough explosives on the plane, because security measures prevented it, then the security measures worked.
