If I understand correctly, you are saying, "Sure, this is intolerance and violence, but it is warranted. And anyway, gays have historically been on the other side of the coin, so it's fine for them to act this way."

You got it, except for the violence part. No one on CUF supports the use of violence and/or vandalism in the political war that is taking place between Mormons (and a few others) and gay rights activists.

I would say that violence/vandalism can be expected in the current war climate, but no one here supports it.

This is true, but I don't consider it an important point. I imagine the slaves were generally quite offended by their enslavement. Sure the queer community is pissed at the anti-gay crowd. They should be.

I agree with you. My issue is with the victim mode so many members have put themselves into lately. As if somehow they're the victims here.
