I'm sorry, but how can you nominate a guy who was in office for 2 weeks, and then give him the award when he is 9 months in his Presidency and the US is in complete shambles...

I would have given the Prize to Greg Mortenson, but the benefit of Obama having won it is that we're treated to wonderful posts on Cougarboard. I would just say, the prize is as meaningful as if the Motion Picture Academy gave him an Oscar for his role in the campaign as a moderate.

Why does the far right get so upset when a bunch of liberals hand out an award to one of their own. It just makes them look petty and dumb.
