Cherry Barcia is pretty tasty, I'll give you that. That texture, though. Makes it difficult (literally) to eat one.

In five pounds, I will be lighter than I've ever been as an adult.
    Nice!

Way to go, GM. It must feel great to take off not one, but two 40+ pound packs as you move along life's trail.

You could address it to "That Big House in Alpine" and it'll get there.

Well to each their own. I love them and will continue to enjoy. I really dislike pretty much every other protein bar I have ever tried from Kirkland to Quest.

I've been meaning to post pretty much the same thing. The texture is a little odd but not a dealbreaker. The best I've had so far was Coconut Almond. Cherry Barcia was decent. Of the ones I've tried so far, I'd put Mint Brownie, Cookies 'N Cream, and Raspberry in the next tier. Salted Caramel was really disappointing. Raspberry Cheesecake was the first one I tried and it was terrible - good thing I bought a full box of them!

Based on all the praise for these bars around here, I figured I must have eaten or drunk something beforehand that was reacting unfavorably to that first bar. But after having tried several of them I now realize that they just aren't that great.

Every Qwest/Kirkland protein bar I've had tastes better than any of these Built Bars.

Edit: It also took them nearly three weeks to deliver the bars. Delayed dissatisfaction.

Hot damn. That is some good work!

I am thinking of giving IF another try. I've been working out for 4-5x a week for the 6 weeks and have lost about 5 lbs (I've gained some muscle too). I'm down about 13 from last Sept. Ideally I need to lose another 15-20. I've been doing mostly CICO for diet, but maybe I can handle a normal 16-8 IF schedule?
