Ok, just got word....Archaea is in! (as a cyclist that is). Said he'll report his mileage through me or Creek.
Another ringer! Sweet!"Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."
Hmm... Good motivation for me to remain active I guess.

I got Paula Radcliffe on board. She'll just report her mileage through me.Originally posted by The Borg View PostOk, just got word....Archaea is in! (as a cyclist that is). Said he'll report his mileage through me or Creek.
Another ringer! Sweet! At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I woke up at 4 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I was out the door by 5:45. The dark just pre-sunrise morning is fantastic for running, and yesterday was a rest day (I didn't even play my usual basketball) so I felt great.Originally posted by Surfah View PostNice run BTW. I slogged through 3.6 miles yesterday at a 12:00 pace.
I couldn't even slog 3.6 at the beginning of the year, so you're ahead of me.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Yes, I am at the same conference. I am swamped so I haven't been keeping up on all of these threads.Originally posted by BigPiney View PostI'll go on whichever team will take me. Or which team makes it the most even.
So let me get this straight. If I am on the runners team. I can still cycle and count those miles? or can I only count running miles. I am a better runner than cyclist, but I count on doing a lot more cycling miles in teh near future, so I am unclear as to which direction to choose.
Oh and JL may be at hte same conference as me in San diego, so if I see him, I'll ask him.
If it's not too late, I would like to join. You can put me on either team."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Slow, taper run for my half on Saturday. I use the term "taper" loosely, since I haven't run much at all since Ragnar, but this race looked too fun to pass up.
Anyway, 4.99 miles (grr...I'll go walk to the mailbox and back. Count it as 5.) done.
Paula did 15 at 6:15.
Counting niku, I have Runners 8.6 (13.6 with Paula), Cyclists 0.At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

You mean 11.2 for the runners, no? I did 6.2 this morning. Proof available upon request.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostSlow, taper run for my half on Saturday. I use the term "taper" loosely, since I haven't run much at all since Ragnar, but this race looked too fun to pass up.

How are we going to report miles? I will order a garmin this weekend, but until then I just have my runningmap rtes and my stop watch.
I may be small, but I'm slow.
