It’s been awhile, but CJ was not my favorite personality on here. But he is really good at pickleball podcasting."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

A guy from my stake just won something in pickle ball and is on his way to Florida for some tournament. That’s all I know and I’m left wondering if it’s a big deal."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yes, golden ticket. Further investigation shows he won the 3.5 doubles 35+ group. His wife is proud of him, which is all that matters.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostHe probably won a golden ticket (admission to nationals) for his level at the recent Dallas tournament. If he plays at 5.0 it’s a big-ish deal. Below that, it’s cool for him, but probably means he sandbagged."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. It's nice that his wife is pleased, but if he doesn't have the approbation of participants on a BYU-themed chat board, then what is he even doing with his life?Originally posted by Moliere View Post
