As for Nike, it will have to allow the players it sponsors to wear other logos in addition to the swoosh, right?

I've never seen the swoosh compete for space in a player. That would be really odd.

Since it was mentioned earlier in this thread, I thought I would give an update. The construction on the course is done.

Still a few GUR's where the sod or see grass is growing. The changes are great.

I took some crap when I was on the board and voted to do the changes and make the accessment, but I feel vindicated.

Golfboards for the loss again. So much fun watching 4 middle aged Tony Hawk's taking fairway wide turns on their sick board! At least I'm enjoying a 5:30 round behind them and getting to watch them shred hardcore!

I am pro Golfboard when used properly, as I do believe they can speed up a round. But douches gonna douche, and i'm sorry you're stuck behind them.

Two points, however: 1) I highly doubt if you're playing a 5:30 round that it's just the golfboarders directly in front of you holding things up. And if so, call the course and bust them; 2) As I said above, douches gonna douche. These guys would probably be just as slow or slower in a cart, as they'd be spinning donuts and rallying the carts, driving near/over bunkers and greens, etc.

When the course proudly announces that they were the first course to have them, they aren't inclined to move them along. The Marshall has come by 3 times, his last comment was "don't those boards look fun?"

I am sure all of you know this, but in 97 degree weather don't have your liguid for the day be diet coke. Last Sat. I got heat stroke and am sure it is because I drank the wrong fluids.

It has taken a while to not feel drained, well I guess only a couple of days, but it seems longer.

I played yesterday and shot a 46 but came back with a 38 on the back. An 84 is good for me this year.

Now that the course has all the construction guys gone, I think I will shoot in the 70's before year end, even though the course rating went up.
