I have a 3.5 mile loop I do skate skiing. When I first started it would take me 40 minutes to complete. My goal was to able to do it twice in under an hour and tonight I made it. Compared to my friends that skate I'm still pretty slow but i caught my carrot tonight.

I've never skate skied (is that essentially x-country?), but knowing you I suspect my heart would explode if I tried to do that course once in under 30 minutes.

lc, I'm aware of some who have had similar surgeries and ended up no better off than before, but that's invariably due to their failure to change their eating and exercise habits. That you're succeeding where they failed reflects a lot of dedication and hard work on your part. Congrats, and keep it up. It's great getting a whole new wardrobe, isn't it?

Yes. Especially considering that I was "dressed up" in the first picture, as it was my first day at a new job. At my last checkup with my surgeon I broke down crying when asked how it has changed my life. This has quite literally given me a whole new lease on life and has changed my life in immeasurable ways. It is easily the best money I've ever spent and one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.
