Bring it. Rain in St George ain't the same as rain in Houston, and this won't be my first race in it. You can only get so wet.

I may pack a change of clothes in my car though.

      • What are everyone's thoughts on running in garments? I'm thinking of leaving them off for this one. Anyone try that before?

By the way, just kidding. But I expect to see many pair hanging out of shorts come Saturday.

I can't even imagine the raw cheese I would have running in Gs.

          • Overnight low of 37 projected for Enterprise on Friday night, with a high of 85 under partly cloudy skies forecast for St. George. Pretty sweet conditions, if you ask me.

I believe a breeze out of the north as well. Right?

I hadn't noticed that, but yes, 5mph out of the north. It just keeps getting better!

Of course with you cruising along at 8.5 mph, you won't even notice that slight of a wind at your back.

Ah yes. But 5 mph's of less wind in my face and chest that I have to complain about.

We had a saying back in my bike racing days, "There's always a head wind when you're moving forward."

Saw that both at Top of Utah and Utah Valley. Blew my freakin' mind.

Weather looks great - I did notice the wind.

I'm not doing the pasta dinner, but I'd be happy to meet up with folks. I can PM my cell number to those who want it.

I saw three people wearing proud in last year's race.

I'm guessing that, statistically, the folks wearing their holy garments are more likely to be in the back of the pack where I was.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Or desecration, depending how you look at it.
