I don't think I ever said that heavy people weren't deserving of love but my personal taste lean more toward a more athletic build. I believe from your statement you're the one that has an issue and if so do something about it and stop wallowing in your own self pity.

I am happily married. There's no self pity here. I am what I am, and I'm happy with who I am. After 30 years of hearing people talking about being "grossed out" by another human being's appearance, I get tired of it. You didn't expressly say it, but I know what you mean.

For the record I am fat. I am not attracted to fat women. One of my biggest pet peeves when I was single was being set up on a blind date with girls that were very heavy. I remember blowing up on a friend who did this to me.

If that makes me shallow, then I am shallow. I married Gidget. She is petite. She also has a fantastic body and can run circles around me. When she complains about eating too much or not working out hard enough I almost have to roll my eyes. I am grateful that Gidget isn't as shallow as me.
