Breakfast: McGriddles + hash browns + OJ + two breakfast burritos
Lunch: On thursday (catered lunch) I would pork out - if we had fajitas, for example, I'd probably put down four or five Ninfas-style, with chips, queso and giant piece of cheesecake to match. Other days, maybe a Double Angry Whopper, XL fry and DIET coke (har!).

Throw in three or four leaded cokes.

And if we had pizza that night with the kids, I'd down a large on my own. With breadsticks and sauce. But a diet coke this time, so it's cool.

Probably polish of a bag o' Doritos while watching TV.

Late night ice cream with the missus. Then sleep.

I calculated that out and turned out to be something like 6500. I didn't do that every day, but here and there, you better believe I did. Other days were probably in the 4500 range or so. But if you do the math and assume I burn 3000 a day normally (probably a bit of underestimate, depending on the day), those 6500 calorie bombs were a FULL POUND of fat.

I am ashamed of it, but writing it down is cathartic.

Further edit: it was all in my butt, face, and evenly distributed around my stomach. Because my butt and stomach grew together, I still looked roughly proportional.

EDIT: I just did the math. Without the ice cream, about 7000 calories. With, probably like 7500.
To be perfectly honest, your 6500/day diet sounds pretty delicious.

This site is great, and I really mean it. This section alone is the bomb.

I registered at fitday, and so far today I have consumed 183 calories.

It figures my calories burned at 4355 a day, and I assume that is because I am as heavy as I am and the sight accounts for me having to haul my ass around everyday.

Is there a spot in there for me to figure in exercise and the type of exercise that it was?

My wife is going to love this.

On the mornings I ate breakfast last week, it was not because I was hungry, but because I felt compelled to. On Monday, I met a client at McD's near the courthouse, preparatory to a court hearing. On Tuesday, my wife cooked waffles, and I would have felt bad not eating them when she got up early to make them. Most mornings, breakfast would be a bowl of cereal and a piece of fruit. But even that makes it so I'm starving by 10:00.

I realize fast food is not ideal, but sometimes it is all I have when I don't take time to prepare a lunch before coming to work. I need to make a concerted effort to eat more sandwicnes, etc. instead of burgers and pseudo-Chinese. As for soda, i'm not giving it up anytime soon, as it brings me joy. I'd rather make concessions elsewhere.
I think the big win for everyone is that we are all trying to be more aware of what we are eating and then making adjustments.

There is no way I will ever abandon sweets, meat, cheese, ice cream, etc. I think this is where fad diets fail. They require extreme measures that are impossible to maintain for the long haul, so it is always a matter of time before you fall off the wagon.

My main goal out of all of this is to learn and master portion control. Like surfah, I too am a fast eater. I throw it down quickly, which leaves me wanting to keep eating more. If I learned to pace myself and incorporate more water, I would wind up eating less.

And I don't know what the Pink Patch is, but I just spent 9K on their entire inventory. Those chicks aren't ugly.

Yes. Go to the activities tab. It will allow you to customize or select from a wide variety of exercise regimens. You can specify the length of your workouts, the intensity, etc.

The standard default for calories burned only takes into account your sedentary behavior.....are you sitting at a desk all day vs what you do (active in the oil fields type of stuff). Make sure you add your additional stuff like walking or lifting because that helps burn more calories.

I picked "mostly seated", because I would rather error on the side of lazyness.

                  What about masturbation?

You can add activities. Even with vigorous activity I doubt it burns much.

I saw that. And you can categorize your sex, from "vigorous" all the way down to "mild--cuddling, kissing"

Obviously, I had to go custom since there was nothing higher than "vigorous."

Obviously. It's been a great tool for me to gauge Gidget's mood.

"So honey, should I put down vigorous or mild for tonight?"

Leftovers and Family Home Evening last night.

                                4/6
                                2 pork ribs
                                tortilla soup (1.5 servings)
                                water
                                4oz Sprite
                                rice crispy treats

Fitday says that equals 1,200 cal but I'm probably underestimating the rice crispy treats. They don't weigh much. At least they were homemade.
