No, it started up at the "ski resort" again, then down the canyon, through Summerlin to Red Rock Casino, up Red Rock canyon and down past Blue Diamond, through Mountain's Edge (and past my church!), through Henderson down to Boulder City, out to the lake, and then gradually back through Henderson and Vegas to end at Red Rock Casino again.

I liked the "loop" course - this was my first Ragnar. My wife ran Wasatch a few years ago. I'm not sure it would be as fun to just sit in the car from Logan to Park City. At least I got to go back to a central base and shower off between runs and grab a tight 3 hours sleep.

      Well done. I am jealous.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I can't believe I'm just seeing this. I would have made an awesome sign for you! I had some cousins do it, one of which stayed with us Saturday night to catch an early flight the next morning. I have no idea what time they started but they finished around 5:45 p.m. :amazed:

If you're ever in this part of town again, let's grab some lunch.

I should note that I was in van 1, and we finished our portion of race at about 10:30 a.m. Our second van (and thus our team) finished the whole race at about 4:30 or so. But we still beat the sh++ out of your cousins!!!

There's a good chance I may be relocating professionally down to your neighborhood.

Hopefully it was clear that my offer was only redeemable for one lunch.

I already booked us a recurring reservation at Jason's Deli.

Downtown Summerlin? That must be high rent there. Some cool condos though.

That would make for a hell of a promotion.

I was referring to downtown downtown. Where real estate is apparently cheap enough to keep a whole high rise floor unoccupied for about eight months and counting. Makes for a peaceful bathroom experience though, when in a pinch.

I did not. I can't think of a less appealing place for a music festival than the Vegas viaducts.

It's actually one of the better festivals in the country. The only one i can think of off the top of my head at least that doesn't have smelly campers.

I'm curious how to dealt with the food/nutrition aspect of this. I read your plea for help but didn't respond...mostly because I didn't know. I would have just told you to eat/drink plenty of carbs, some protein, and drink plenty of water. For carbs, I would have carbo-loaded before with some complex carbs and then used a carb-loaded powder during and in between legs.
