Is there a difference between the Allegreto laser and IntraLase laser?
No one around here has an Allegreto so I don't know a lot about that laser. However, the principle of both is dealing with what is called wavefront or higher order abberations. In theory, you are correcting all the normal imperfections of the cornea in order to give the highest quality vision. Research has shown for most patients it doesn't make much of a difference versus traditional LASIK. For those with moderate to higher amounts of astigmatism, especially irregular astigmatism it does seem to help.

Not sure if I answered your query or not.
Very helpful. I have pretty significant astigmatism in one eye (though I don't know if it's third-order or some other type) so if I would probably at least want to consult somewhere with Allegreto, just to hear what they have to say.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
I get the lifetime enhancements as well as care for the first year. I have no idea about the punctal plugs.
So far so good on day two. My Wuss no longer feel like I'm wearing dirty contacts.

You're not supposed to wear them there anyway!
