    Anyone running this?
    http://www.sgcity.org/recreation/rac...ils.php?id=122

We're taking half of our Ragnar team and running it. It looks really fun and it's dirt cheap. I don't remember ever hearing about it, so I'm guessing it's their first year. Has anyone heard of it before or run in it?

    Also...who's doing Ragnar this year?
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Speaking of cool races ... This is a race that they do in Columbus:

    Arnold 5k Pump and Run

They reduce yor 5k time by 30 seconds for each bench press rep you can do of your body weight (maximum 30 reps). The slots are limited and it fills up really fast. Do they do races like this anywhere else?

Wow...that would cut my 5K PR down to...let's see...my PR.

I don't like races like that.

That race looks fun, but I don't know if I would even bother with the hassle of getting to a relay that's only 50 miles, especially with 5 runners. If it were a 2 or 3 person relay, I'd think about it.

We're reviving our team "Our Wives Think We're At Work" for Ragnar again this year. Looking forward to it.

Uh, they would most likely have to add seconds to my time due to inability to complete a lift, so I'm out.

So basically I wouldnt even have to run the race and my time would be 0:00.

            That doesnt sound fun.

Maximum of 30 reps so you can only have your time reduced by 15 minutes.

You can do it as a 2 or 3 person race; it's just a maximum of 5. Of course, you're racing against others with 5 people so maybe that doesn't change your mind.

In any case, it's close to where I live and it's cheap, so it's not a big deal for us.
