Hang in there everyone. The first few days suck, but it will get easier. Start over fresh tomorrow if you need to. I'm gonna have to.

I must have a sixth sense for when people are talking about me. This is the first time I've looked at this thread. I clicked on a whim only to find Gabers cursing me for doing something I'm good at.

Keep it up Surfah! Pizza is king!

Rough start to my diet. Ate a Snickers at work. But otherwise did alright on my diet. I ran two miles and went swimming with my girls. Swam 12 laps. But I can't go swimming anymore because I am always famished afterward. I killed a bag of smartpop popcorn, a slice of jalapeno cheddar bread, and a sliver of key lime pie. Ouch.

Just trying to get some miles on the legs as its been about 2 months since I stopped running. Taking the tennis racquet to work tomorrow as some guys play at lunch. I need to get stricter with the diet and cut out the rice. Ugh.

I'm sorry Surfah, but your posts in this thread have me LOLing.

3 days down, many more to go! Tracking my food consumption on thedailyplate.com has been a real eye opener. I have been watching what I eat (eating much better than before) and although my calorie consumption has been within my goal range, my sodium and sugar intake is always higher than recommended.

That was the spirit prompting you. Yet, another affirmation the church is true and you making killer pizza is even truer. Almost sinful.

Taking the family to the coast this weekend. I am going to try my best to not fall off the wagon. No clam chowder, fried fish or salt water taffy..... :crossing fingers:

                    Talk about lousy timing

I may be small, but I'm slow.

Well, my dinner tonight was oysters on the half shell for a starter followed by seared sea scallops, mixed veggies and garlic mashers, oh and a sourdough dinner roll ( I ate it before I could even think about not eating it...). I drank water. Probabbly about 900-1100 calories for dinner, but it was sure good. I'll work out extra hard when I get back.

I'm glad. The scale doesn't laugh when I step on it. More like a groan then oh shit.

Like I promised yesterday was ugly. Worked for two hours and then headed out to the golf course. My dad offered lunch on the way. He pulled into the McDONALD'S drive-thru. Shit. In my head I'm thinking salad, salad, salad. Ok at worst a single double cheeseburger. No fries. No sooner does my dad ask what I want and I blurt out a number 13. Thirdpound Bacon Angus cheeseburger. But it's okay because I only went medium and got diet Coke.

Golfed for 4 hours. Rode in a cart though. I'm sure my language was worth a few calories.

Got home and made 5 pizzas. There is probably a wanted poster out for me in Naples. I decided to make the Neapolitan style pizza with traditional American toppings. It was hit and miss. I wasn't as happy with my crust this time. Too much flour and a bit too dry for my liking. Time to dial it back to my last effort. And time to get my diet back. I'll start after the ward pancake breakfast this morning.

                        • This is crap! I've been exercising now for about 8 weeks straight and doing better with food intake and still no weight lose. IF the inches come off, shouldn't the weight come off too? Stupid muscles.

                          • I am a little frustrated...

I haven't eaten anymore than 1900 calories in any day for the last week. Went on 3 2.5+ mile walks. Golfed once.

                            Only down 1 lb.

                            Frustrating...but not giving up.
