Funny you should mention that. We were nosing around that silver creek express or whatever it was called and then made our way over to the left...bunch of chutes over there and the chair is called Mahoney or mahogany or something like that. It was icy by 2pm and also very windy. We were told to head over to that empire express chair because the snow tends to be better over there. Sincere question: I'm not a skier, so I don't know how skiers really view this stuff, but when heading out of bounds, do you worry about avalanche danger? You watch the news and it seems that is all they talk about - that by skiing out of bounds, you are essentially taking your own life. Is the media blowing it all out of proportion or are you just a crazy ass son of a gun?
