The only indoor pools I have ever liked are those that are very large in a dedicated and large building. Otherwise, outdoors is superior.

Don't know what a Super 8 smells like
But i agree that indoor pools smell terrible and there is always a muggy feeling in the air. in short, indoor pools are stupid. To creekster's concern, i am sure you can dedicate the building once you finish construction, just make sure to close in the name of the Savior.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Of course in Houston you can use the pool almost year round anyway even if it's an outdoor pool."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
