I wish I could say I teed that up for you. But I didn't see that one coming and you crushed it. I guess I deserve that after posting that I was going to check out balls at Dick's.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI am sure you licked a lot of heads in your youth."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Ryobi 4-cycle with attachments. Had it for probably 8 years now. I use the trimmer and edger attachment every week. I also have a small tiller attachment that I used when I had a small garden. Now I have a big garden and a big rear-tine roto-tiller.
Mixing oil and gas stinks worse than a Tijuana zonkey. The bad part is, if you mix too much for the season then you can't recycle it or dispose of it. Lots of places will dispose/recycle oil - nobody will take oil/gas mixed.
Were I buying new today I would take a look at the cordless rechargeable electric models and compare them to a 4-cycle. But I will never, ever buy a 2-cycle.

I don't understand what the big deal/hastle of mixing the oil for the 2-stroke is. It is not too difficult. You can mix the various ratios (30:1, 40:1, etc.) on at a time in 1 gal. gas cans (clearly labeled). The oil is inexpensive. More power. I guess I am just use to the 2-cycle process.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostRyobi 4-cycle with attachments. Had it for probably 8 years now. Not to mention you can buy premixed fuel if you're too lazy to do it yourself.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostI don't understand what the big deal/hastle of mixing the oil for the 2-stroke is. The mixing is easy. It's how finicky the engines can be that can get annoying.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostI don't understand what the big deal/hastle of mixing the oil for the 2-stroke is.
