Some 15 yr old gal from my ward called me on my cell phone just wanting to talk about something bad she did that i will not repeat. She wants me to meet her at McDonalds later tonight but i told her heck no and she should call a friend her age or a councilor in the Bishopric (Note- Her father is the Bishop.)


My question is should I bring this up with her parents and invade her privacy or just let it go?

Note - I have told my wife that she called me.

If it's threatening her well being or blatantly illegal (like armed robbery, not like jaywalking or having a beer), I'd call her parents. You'd hate to have been in a position to avert a tragedy and not acted.

The girl will probably feel totally betrayed and hate you forever but she is 15 so who really cares.

It would be best that you report yourself to your parole officer that you made contact with a minor, rather than someone turning you in.
