I have decided that I am definitely not ready for retirement. 2-3 days of this and I am bored already.

I worry about this. Not just for church, but other things as well. We are already becoming a nation of introverts and that brings a whole host of social ills - loneliness, depression, suicide, etc. We need more community, more personal interaction, not less.

We've been doing this for four weeks now. Wake up late. Do our own little service and some Gospel study. Walk the dog. Cook dinner. Relax.

Today while walking the dog mrs. myboynoah expressed her happiness with the current regime, wondering how much she will enjoy going back to church.

I wonder how many will opt for "less activity" after all of this.

I'm sure you will be out for at least 4 weeks in the U.S. More likely it will go 2-3 months.

Nope. mrs. myboynoah suggested it but I said the necktie doesn't hold the Priesthood, I do. I don't even shave, and I wear a ball cap during Gospel discussion. I also wear shorts. The church of myboynoah is pretty chill, but we are hardcore on the WofW and wearing garments.

Edit: mrs. myboynoah is making butter chicken and I'm in charge of the naan (well, frying it).

I did this while going to actual church, teaching Gospel Doctrine, wearing shorts and a guayabera, full beard.

I've wondered about this as well. It may, at the very least, result in fewer councils and administrative meetings, with more virtual get-togethers. When this is over I expect a small drop in attendance as the less valiant check out for the long-term.

Do you wear Sunday best during your home services? It would feel weird to bless/take the sacrament in jeans but I feel like no one else in my house is going to want to dress up.

I just put a brisket on the smoker. I also just decided that I'm going to smoke something every Sunday (that I don't have to work) until meetings resume.
