Rumor has it that they thought it was some country or rodeo thing, you know Bulls on Parade. Anyway, I went and it was probably the most fun I've had at a concert. I remember having to walk several blocks through town and the townsfolk were definitely apprehensive. A couple people talked to me because I guess we looked like clean cut BYU students (which we were); we told them it wasn't a big deal and everything would be ok. The concert was definitely intense with a pretty great mosh pit, but it all stayed in the venue. There were a bunch of high school kids; I spent half the time throwing these kids up in the air in the pit.Originally posted by Commando View PostWish I had somehow gone to this. Welcome back!Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

My son lives in Sugar House and this sounds a lot like the bishop of his singles ward. They have four active members who are gay and he says the ward and bishopric is really good at accepting everybody into the ward. I'm starting to feel like bishops are realizing there is a problem out there keeping 20 somethings active and are doing things to keep them coming.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View Post
