What the hell? No mention of us in your biography?
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

SU publishes a book review. Ha. I bet he never read the book.

I'd like to read it, but I'm gonna go ahead and doubt my doubts!

In the preface I explain that this is the first LDS related book I have read in many years.

This reinforces that I am different.

I read Logos and I'll read this. Feel free to send me the link.

Is this the one that finally gets you ex'd? Should we start a betting pool? Who wants to lay odds?

I bought it and read it!

It's like a greatest hits of your CS posts! I agree that the term "scientism" is cringe-inducing and that religion is a metaphor.

                    Thanks for the heads up.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Interesting. What prompted you to write it SU? I don't agree with it all, but it's worth reading.
