Agreed. The church is too smart to have cash, it is probably in gold bars.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

        • This is interesting. There was a non-KJV bible verse quoted at conference.

          • "While the news of three apostles being sustained during General Conference seemed to be the big news, two other visitors have been garnering a great deal of attention recently on social media.

            Who you ask?

            Two angels, that is."

I'm not sure what to do with this story. Some FB friends believe it 100%, while I've seen others mock it. There's not much middle ground.

Maybe we should do a poll?

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Why do you have to do anything with the story?

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Yeah that area out in Gilbert is a popular place to move right now, but that's where growth was centered anyway. They certainly didn't build the SanTan mall years ago b/c a family was going to prospectively "convince" the Church to build a temple out there.

I remember back in the 80's when President Hunter fell over backwards while talking during a BYU devotional. A couple of guys (angels?) quickly picked him up and he kept talking like nothing had happened. Maybe they were two of the three Nephites?
