FTR, I love this type of stuff and I'd attend if I lived in Utah. I get weird satisfaction out of listening to people with beliefs that are nuttier than my own. Yesterday I was driving around west Texas and I tuned in to a radio station with some evangelical preacher. I listened to several sermons, which included prosperity doctrine (this one was whacked out), why God hates gays, and how ISIS fits into the prophecies in Revelations. The last sermon was a doozy where the preacher got into the some weird linguistic differences between the words God and Allah, which I didn't understand and I also don't think the preacher understood. At any rate, it was much better to listen to than some lame ex-mo podcast.

I wonder how much input Jeffrey R Holland had on the topics in this conference:

Title: Yes, Adam and Eve are Real!

Summary: It is said that scientific data casts grave doubt on the literal existence of Adam and Eve. Scriptures however, proclaim that Adam is the father of all men and that he is a son of God who lived just a few thousand years ago. Utah textbooks insist that human origins through common ancestors of apes, amphibians, fish, slime mold and so on began on Earth 3.6 billion years ago. Hear scientific data that counters Darwin and supports the traditional Biblical account.

AM radio in the south is awesome.

I don't know how anyone could top Clack and his proposed topic. These are his people.

Preach it! I always love listening to crazy. Way more fun than soul-searching journey to discovery.
What if you did a presentation on the dangers of LDS or byu-themed message boards?

Dangers? CUF is a good part of the reason I still go to church...

Well yeah - it's not a danger to you. But your audience might see a threat.

It looks like the criteria for being invited is have you ever profited by targeting LDS members. I'm a little surprised their aren't MLM and ponzi scheme people there.

All I can say is they seem to have nearly all of the LDS issues pegged. I didn't see anything on modesty - but then I went through it pretty quick.

But aside from that, are they missing anything? Don't think so.

Or you can have a distant relative that was a general authority 20 years ago
