Exactly right. Broken heart, contrite spirit, become as a little child . . . and all that. You've got it exactly right. Including the scorn from the great and spacious building. You're playing your part perfectly.

Wrong. Me and HFN are the most vocal church supporters on the board.

The day you speak truth about anything is the day SoonerCoug rediscovers the truth of the Book of Mormon. Both could happen; but both unlikely given temperament, m.o.

Also, "unaffiliated" doesn't get Sooner what he really wants, which is the rise of the Church of No-God of Latter-day Secularists.

It doesn't look like Christianity is exploding in the US...

...but "Other Religions" is growing significantly so maybe it is a good thing we all not considered "Christians".

Mormons should be happy since I think they are classified under folk religions. Pew really does their research. It looks like they are using active member numbers and not the number on the rolls.

I'm not sure that is correct. I don't think he has posted in Wuap's tap water temperature thread?
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Or in most of the sports threads.
