It's always struck me as funny, these empty prognostications by the virulent new secularists like Sooner, who predict religion's downfall at their hands. As if they were the greatest threat religion and faith have ever faced. It's such an ahistorical sentiment, and ultimately simple egotism. If they studied one ounce of history, they would see that faith has faced much greater existential threats throughout history than their bellicose bellyaching. Faith dying b/c of the likes of SoonerCoug . . . lol.

This assumes China doesn't open up to religious freedom. As the study makes clear, if that happens, all bets are off on these "switching" numbers. Christianity will explode.

Also, "unaffiliated" doesn't get Sooner what he really wants, which is the rise of the Church of No-God of Latter-day Secularists.
