And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments.
My view of God is a being who set things in motion millions of years ago and sort of let things roll. I think He rarely acts directly but instead acts chiefly through inspiring His children. It's the only way that I can reconcile a loving God with tsunamis, droughts, hurricanes, etc. In daily life, I'm not sure He does a lot, but is a hands-off parent.
Am I then one of "those who confess not his hand in all things"? Wouldn't "all things" include the good and the bad? I'm not trying to make a point here; I'm sincerely curious how to interpret this scripture.
