No way! You mean to tell me that, despite our best efforts, some people would choose a church different than the one that asks them to wear weird underwear, read more scriptures, pay tithing, go to three hours of church and hoard food!

No mention of the ban on beer, wine, and coke?

Yes, please read the entire thread. There are two groups who have seen this movie:

                1. None of the active mormons on CS have seen it, but most of their wives have.
                2. All of the ex-mormons on CS have seen it. They have partaken so that the other ex-mormons don't have to.

As you are summarizing for me, did everybody hate it? I need to report to my sister that it isn't worth it but with reliable authorities such are wont to be found here.
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Consensus seems to be that the wives loved it.

I didn't hate it. I thought it was boring, I thought the stories were underdeveloped, I thought it said nothing about Mormons, but I didn't hate it. Catwoman was way worse.

Well I won't report the women liked it. No reason to encourage her.

Correct - the wives thought it was moving and emotional while the Exmos were upset that the Kinderhook plates were completely ignored.

Wait, so those weren't Mormons in the movie after all?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'd like to see it at some point. It looks uplifting.
