    Meet the Mormons

It's opening weekend, y'all! Get your tickets or call your local theater and offer to buy out an entire showing. This thread is for posting your reviews.

Yesterday the world premiere of the movie took place at [somewhere in Utah]. It was like the Oscars, only mormony.

The Mittster, Jeff Holland, and somebody else.

    49298.jpg

An Osmond, an Osmond's wife, and David Archuletta.

    49292.jpg

Shawn Bradley and a regular-sized reporter.

    49294.jpg

    Dave Rose and wife.

    49297.jpg

New BYU Prez and Ms. Prez.

Basically, if Mormons ran Hollywood, there would be a lot more capsleeves, less attention on beautiful actors/actresses and and more attention on odd youtube personalities, a prominent role for current and former BYU coaches, and something called Studio C.

I thought Shawn bradley's shoes were hideous and then I noticed the reporter's shoes. And with a suit!

Good to see Shawn is staying at his playing weight. I once saw him get into a golf cart. A very tight fit.

Yep, I am sure it was Shawn's weight that made the golf cart a tight fit.

I remember seeing those brown "dress up sneakers" a lot in Utah.

they are still quite popular here, fueled by the plethora of Sketchers outlets across the state.

Wasn't sketchers initially a skateboard shoe company? Now it seems to make clunky male dress shoes and those shoes with convex soles that are supposed to give your calves a great workout.

Hey, they are brown leather. Brown leather is what a lot of dress shoes are made of. Ergo, those must be dress shoes.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I agree, which is why I mostly wear Merrell these days.

Are you all familiar with "youtube celebrities?" I didn't recognize any of these "famous" mormons:

i think the people in that third pic are the "Piano Guys," the ones who do zany piano renditions of contemporary pop hits.

I think the guy in the middle picture is Tyler Haws, a 6'5" senior guard out of Alpine on BYU's college basketball team.
                        I'm like LeBron James.

Hey! the Kid History people! I forgot about them.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Nope you are wrong. You must not be familiar with golf cart's. It was the fact he is so tall. He had to bend his head forward all the way to the protective shield on the cart. Oops, sorry you aren't familiar with carts. Let's say it is quite a ways to bend.

I will be more careful in the future to give more detail and not assume everyone would know what a golf cart looks like.

I wonder what occasions Bradley and Rose consider as jacket ones.
