I was on the fence about attending PH session at the stake center. I like the idea of chilling at home while watching it. However, given the rotten attitude of my kids during the last session of conference I'm going to get dressed up and go. It's also my son's first time attending PH so we are heading our early and going to find some man food to prepare us for the testosterone infested upcoming session.

MJ gets to be home with 4 awnry and whiny kids. Thank God I have the PH and she doesn't.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Wish he were in the Lord's university uniform instead of the uniform of the priesthood.

Oh. Well in that case, I hope that dude can dribble, pass, and shoot better than Matt Carlino.

DHO claiming women already have the priesthood. Sort of...

Also pulling out the motherhood argument.

I sure hope the conference center was packed full of women to witness that priesthood smack down. Oh wait...

I wonder how many members of OW would have walked out had they been permitted to attend. Oaks with the mic drop.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I feel bad for these two fine brethren that had to follow Elder Oaks. Nobody will remember their talks.

I took Book of Mormon from one of DHO's kids.

He had some really outlandish ideas about mini-elephants and horses in South America that proved the veracity of the BOM.

He basically had an explanation for everything. He would spend entire lectures mapping out chiasmus for us.

I wonder how he handles facts. It doesn't sound like DHO innoculated his kids at all.

Remember that shot you hit in regionals? Or was it Mike Duncan that hit the shot? Either way I am sure you felt the spirit that day.
