That, and they are mentally ill. I would be willing to bet that it has more to do with the mentally ill part, than the membership in the church part. Although, church culture can wreak havoc on a mind that is already compromised. IMO

Without the numbers, it's impossible to say. I do think it's so antithetical to how I view Mormons that it leaves a definite impression that may not be there for a Catholic dad who murders his wife/kids.

A thread like this growing on a small random chat board is evidence of absolutely nothing.

My guess is we would see a similar growing list of domestic abuse/murders for every arbitrary group you could think of involving adult men.

It's sad that this thread keeps on growing with stuff like this. Do you think the numbers are pretty equal with the general population or does this happen more to church members because of the emphasis on eternal marriage and families and if it goes wrong here they don't see any hope.
