I'm working on my axe right now! I probably need to get some material from a Mormon Stories Podcast or ex-mo reddit first though. I think the podcast will probably be a minimum of 8 hours long, so it will be awhile before I can post.Originally posted by Clark Addison View PostNot the best week for Mormons and sexual misconduct.
By the way, with the interest that I have in the Hildebrandt stuff, I finally, for the first time, attempted to listen to a Mormon Stories podcast with the interview of Jessi Hildebrandt. I obviously couldn't finish it. My takeaway from listening to part of it is that John Dehlin is horrifically bad at interviewing people and in desperate need of an editor. Good hell, how do people waste there time with that shit?As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

It's sad that this thread keeps on growing with stuff like this. Do you think the numbers are pretty equal with the general population or does this happen more to church members because of the emphasis on eternal marriage and families and if it goes wrong here they don't see any hope.

That, and they are mentally ill. I would be willing to bet that it has more to do with the mentally ill part, than the membership in the church part. Although, church culture can wreak havoc on a mind that is already compromised. IMOOriginally posted by RC Vikings View Posthttps://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...g-w-rcna121872

A thread like this growing on a small random chat board is evidence of absolutely nothing.Originally posted by RC Vikings View Posthttps://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...g-w-rcna121872

I tend to agree. If the guy were Methodist, his wife would probably still be dead today.Originally posted by originalsocal View Post

Doomsday family from Arizona last seen in Idaho with teen they believe is chosen of God. His father is desperate for answers. - East Idaho News
The crazy that had always been present but largely ignorable in certain corners of just about every ward in the church was released like curses from Pandora's box with Covid and the 2020 election. I can't prove that Mormons lead the league in batshit apocalyptic schemes, but it sure feels that way.
